How To Find A Parking Space?
1. Make sure the vehicles parked on either side of the vacant parking space are positioned so that they are parallel to one another and not too close to the open space’s edge.

3. Try to find an open parking space away from shopping cart collectors or clusters of unattended shopping carts when parking in a retail store’s parking lot. This will lessen the likelihood that your car will sustain damage while it is parked in a lot.
4. Although convenience is important, it is frequently preferable to park halfway down an aisle of spaces rather than at the start. There will be less traffic when you enter and exit the area, and your car will be less likely to be completely surrounded by other cars.
How To Park Straight Between Two Cars?
1. Move slowly to place your car in the middle of the parking space. If the aisle can only accommodate one direction of traffic, park your car as far to the opposite side as you can to give yourself more room to turn.
2. Your car should come to a complete stop when its front bumper is roughly halfway past the parking space in front of the one you intend to use.
3. Turn your car’s wheel in the direction of the parking space and slowly start to pull it into the spot. Make sure there is a sufficient amount of space on either side of your car by looking at the left and right sides.
4. As you approach the parking spot, keep turning the steering wheel until your car is parallel to the cars that are parked on either side of the spot.
5. Up until your car is fully parked in the space, keep slowly pulling forward. If a car is parked directly in front of you, take care not to park too close to it.
6. As soon as your ignition is off, get out of the car.
7. When another vehicle is parked on either side of you in a parking space, you must first determine how close they are before leaving. Turn toward the side where the closest car is parked if you have the option to do so when backing out of the space. As you leave the parking space, doing so will give the front of your car more room to turn.
Other Perpendicular Parking Tips
- The best course of action is to take your time entering a perpendicular parking space because of the numerous sharp turns. To signal to the vehicles behind you that you are about to turn into the space, slow down, use your indicators, and slow down. Haste is the only reason why many avoidable accidents happen!
- In comparison to a right-hand parking space, the left one is simpler to maneuver into. The right side of the lane is typically used by drivers as they approach a spot, giving you more room to align yourself into a left-hand parking space.
- Avoid turning too soon because that could make matters even more difficult! If this occurs, you might need to turn around and align yourself several times. Always use your side mirrors as a rough guide.
